Stacey Brooks
Stacey is a warm, professional psychologist who is passionate about working with clients to enhance their psychological and physical well-being through supportive, non-judgemental therapy. She has a high level of training and experience in delivering evidence-based therapies (including cognitive behavioural therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy) for a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, disordered eating, adjusting to chronic illness and chronic pain, grief and sleep difficulties.

In her last position in a public hospital in Auckland, Stacey helped people with a range of chronic illnesses including diabetes, renal failure, respiratory conditions, chronic pain, organ transplant and cancer. Stacey supports her clients’ adjustment to physical health conditions, by providing support and strategies to help them adapt to these changes and to understand why they may be having difficulties.

Stacey is also experienced in helping people to increase motivation and commitment to lifestyle changes for the promotion of their health, for example managing weight, quitting smoking or increasing physical exercise.


Availabilities and Rebates
Stacey is available Monday to Friday.

She is registered with Medicare Australia, therefore clients can receive rebates if they are referred under a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
