Ella Duckworth
Ella is a registered psychologist with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne. She aims to work collaboratively with her clients to achieve positive and lasting change, supporting them through these changes with a sense of respect, humour, and warmth.

Ella has experience in helping adults and adolescents with a range of issues, including anxiety, stress, depression, psychosis, grief, disordered eating and other forms of emotional distress. Ella has a particular interest in supporting women through the many adjustments and stressors inherent to pregnancy, childbirth, and early motherhood. She has conducted research at the Royal Women’s Hospital on symptoms of anxiety and depression experienced during pregnancy.

Ella’s approach in therapy draws on evidence-based clinical therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and schema therapy. Ella is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and has published in a peer-reviewed journal.

Availabilities and Rebates
Ella is available for consultation two days per week.

She is registered with Medicare Australia, therefore clients can receive rebates if they are referred under a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
